In a world of mass production, brand name proliferation, and
increasing uniformity,
Green and Hagstrom
strives to stand apart with our unique Asian
Pottery, Fountains and Reservoirs.
Human hands - not machines, form, shape and apply
the finishing details on all Pottery, Fountains and
Reservoirs. Subtle variations will be noticed. This
does not make our pottery imperfect but unique, even before
the pieces enter the kiln for firing. These pots are the
result of hard work and superior craftsmanship from
master craftsmen throughout Vietnam, China and Thailand!
"Made to last" would be an under-statement. You will find
them to have the thickest walls of any on the market.
These warm and inviting pieces can be used in
Western settings for every conceivable planting,
water garden or fountain. Some simply put them in
their homes as decorative pieces. Add bamboo, use a
pump to create a fountain, grow water lilies. The
possibilities are endless. |

The
reservoir kit, pump and your choice of urn comprise all the
components needed to build a complete recirculation water
fountain. Our urns are handmade and high-fired in wood
burning kilns. No two are exactly alike. These fountains can
be used for indoor or outdoor applications.
Simply decide upon the venue for your fountain. If it is
outdoors you may want to dig out a cavity in which to place
the reservoir and assure a stable, level surface. Set the
reservoir into its place. Center the ceramic support in the
reservoir. Screw the plastic adaptor fitting onto the bottom
of the urn. |

|
Two people can then easily place the urn on top of the
ceramic support, being careful not to damage the plumbing.
Now it's time to connect the push-on fittings to the bottom
of the urn and also to the pump. Your pump should have a
valve to regulate the flow of water. Adjust the valve to
change the sound of the falling water and determine the area
for water dispersion.
Place one
of the flat covers over the reservoir. Then place the pump
cord through the provided notch of the second cover as you
put it on top. Finally, set some river rocks or your choice
of materials on top of the reservoir for your desired
effect. Enjoy! |
